Frequently Asked Questions

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) helps people with disability across Australia lead fulfilling lives by providing them with access to support and care. The scheme helps eligible applicants to improve their life standards by empowering them to become independent, learn new skills, connect with services and community, and participate in employment.
To receive an NDIS plan you will need to attend a planning session either in person or over the phone with the NDIS. This meeting will go over everything from the community supports available in your area, to the equipment you need to take care of yourself at home. You will also discuss the goals you want to achieve and what supports you need.
Great! One big step is out of the way, but understanding the NDIS plan can be a difficult process in itself. Luckily, as part of your NDIS plan, you may also receive funding for support coordination to help you in this process. This is where we come into the picture and can help with important steps such as choosing the right provider for you, connecting you with community services and empowering you to become independent!
That’s totally okay! There are three levels of support coordination that is available depending on your individual circumstances and how much help you need. These are: support connection, support coordination, and specialist support coordination.
